Marie-Eglantine PirsonSpecial-effects makeup artist & dental technician trainee
I discovered anaplastology years ago and found it fascinating. I was mesmerized by the work of the top-level artists in this medical field. And the good they are doing in the world.
Not finding a way of training directly, I've been improving my skills and studying to get into this line of work. Luckily, I love to learn, and a lot of the skills are intertwined with my work of as a special effects makeup artist. So no loss!
I’m now looking for a way to learn more. Having working in a lab for 5 years, I know that having a trainee is a lot of time invested so I’m looking also for formations and modules. If you're open to form news poeples, contact me.
Here is my journey and the skills I made along the way.
In 2015, I graduated from the Institute of Arts of Diffusion (Louvain-la-Neuve) where I learned web development, 3D and image editing. I can adapt to both physical and digital workflow.
In 2016, I went to the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles to follow the master makeup program at Cinema Makeup School. There, I had the chance to learn from some of the best about mold making, silicone running, sculpting,...
In 2017, I worked on my first TV-Show and entered the movie industry.
In 2020 I've met Oriane de Neve, the creator of Ladies Monster. I've been lucky to be her assistant in most of her projects since. With her I updated my skills in sculpting skin textures and silicone painting. I also learned to hairpunch.
In 2025, I started a dental technician internship with Umberto Rotondi. With him I'm learning to apply my lab experiences to a medical field.
